At AudioCap we recognise that some of the best audio equipment manufacturers are not exactly household names (at least not yet!) and that it can be difficult for smaller, specialised manufacturers to get access to the capacitors that they need.

To assist in this, we developed the category of Private Manufacture, which includes classic "cottage" businesses, boutique and custom manufacturers, and startup manufacturers of audio equiment.

Where it is not possible to offer the full credit terms available to larger scale OEMs, AudioCap will be happy to work closely with your venture, and improve our level of assistance to you as we get to know you and your business better.

For UK based resellers and subject to approval, we may also be able to offer you a Private Manufacturer Account, which provides your business with the advantages of 28-day credit terms (up to a pre-specified limit) and a discount on our standard online pricing for smaller quantities.

For larger quantities, private manufacturers can email us for a quotation for wholesale pricing.

If your requirement cannot be met with standard products, we will be happy to discuss quoting your for custom products. Custom options can often be made available for minimum quantities as low as 100 pieces, and include:

• Custom capacitance / rated voltage values

• Tight tolerance capacitors

• Paired tolerances on capacitance, leakage current and ESR

• Custom housings including sizing and mounting style

Additionally, we can often provide capacitors with custom branding/badging at no additional charge. Minimum quantities for this service can often be less than 100 pieces.

Finally, private manufacturers have access to AudioCap's LongLead scheme, which allows easier access to capacitors with longer lead-times with reduced impact on your cash-flow.
