Ampohm Launch Copper Foil Range

Ampohm Wound Products today announced the forthcoming launch of a number of ranges of copper foil capacitors to complement existing aluminium and tin foil products.

The new ranges are:

• PF-XCU-AL-630: Paper-in-oil, Copper-foil - 630V. Available in the range 0.001µF (1nF) to 1.0µF with copper welding and copper or silver leadouts.

• PF-XCU-AL-300: Paper-in-oil, Copper-foil - 300V. Available in the range 2.2µF to 10.0µF with copper welding and copper or silver leadouts.

• PF-XCU-W-AL-630: Paper-in-wax, Copper-foil - 630V. Available in the range 0.001µF (1nF) to 1.0µF with copper welding and copper or silver leadouts.

Ampohm's well-deserved reputation for the manufacture of fine copper-foil capacitors stems from long-standing arrangements for the manufacture of all copper-foil capacitors for AudioNote.

With these new ranges, Ampohm can continue to develop its own strategy for Audiophile capacitors, whilst passing on to customers the substantial cash benefits which arise from non-badged parts.

Deliveries of these ranges are expected in late June/early July 2009.
