LongLead Scheme
For smaller manufacturers and
niche resellers, long lead-times for critical capacitors can
represent a serious challenge. This is then compounded by the
requirement for the payment for the minimum order quantity (MOQ)
to be made in full upfront, often weeks or months before the
goods are received.
To help alleviate this
burden, AudioCap have introduced the LongLead Scheme, composed
of two elements:
AudioCap will, at your
request, seek to reduce the MOQ by either taking on a proportion
of the MOQ ourselves as our stock or by making a proportion of
it available to other AudioCap customers.
Instead of upfront payment in full, AudioCap will require only a
deposit, with settlement of the remainder made when the goods
are shipped to you.
For UK customers, the initial
deposit is 25% of the total value of the capacitors. On delivery
of the capacitors to us, you can then choose to take all parts
on settlement of the 75% of payment outstanding. Alternatively,
under the Extended Delivery option, you can elect to take
the capacitors over a period of up to three months, as set out
in the table below.
For non-UK customers,
the initial deposit is 50% of the total value of the capacitors.
On delivery of the capacitors to us, you must take all parts on
settlement of the 50% of total value outstanding.
