Introduction
Evox Rifa, the world renowned
Scandinavian manufacturers of high quality Aluminium Electrolytic, Paper
and Plastic film capacitors, have many ranges eminently suitable for
audio applications, and many UK &
European Hi-Fi manufacturers have adopted Evox Rifa parts as standard in all their
equipment.
As well as the extensive film
capacitor ranges Evox Rifa has been manufacturing electrolytic
capacitors for over 60 years.
These products offer very long life times
in demanding applications with high ripple currents and elevated
temperatures up to 150°C, with rated
voltages as high as 550 Vdc.
Many variations are offered to allow the designer to pick an optimum
balance between required life, temperature, ripple current and physical
size.

Evox
Rifa PEH169 electrolytics are quite simply the lowest rated electrolytic
on ESR.
They
are also specifically designed to provide reliable operation over a very
extended lifetime.

life of the capacitor.

Extended shelf-life
To
further take advantage of the low ESR, these capacitors are superbly
designed for thermal management, with a solid aluminium heat-sink
running out of the body of the capacitor to form the stud-mounting. The
capacitor can therefore be mounted on a metal chassis, allowing the heat
to flow away from the capacitor, and for the capacitor to operate at its
maximum potential as set out in the series datasheet. |
